Cable stitch for large knitted area
Description:
Cast on multiple of 28 (+2 edge) sts.
Only RS rows are displayed.
In WS rows work all sts as you see them.
Horizontally repeat the sequence between vertical green lines.
Vertically repeat :
6x rows 1 to 2, then work out rows 3 to 14 (one time)
and continue repeating rows 15 – 74.

P1 = Purl 1 stitch (videohelp), knit in WS
Cross 3 sts to the right – 2 k sts over 1p st
Cross 3 sts to the left – 2 k sts over 1p st
C2L (Make a left slanting cable 2 sts over 2 sts)
C2R (Make a right slanting cable 2 sts over 2 sts)
Instructions how to follow the graphic chart:
Follow the stitch symbols in the chart from the right side to the left,
from bottom to top.
Start your work by an edge stitch, then follow symbols of row no. 1 by the stitches before first right vertical green line (i.e. from odd row numbers) , continue to repeat the sequence of stitch symbols between the two green lines and finish row by the stitches after the second (left) green line.
WS rows are not displayed in the chart. It means: work all WS stitches as you see them (i.e. knit knitted sts, purl purled sts)
