Instructions:

The most common weave braids of 3 lines. It is possible to do it also from 4, 5, or 6 lines. The density of the braid pattern decreases with increase the number of rows in chart.
We have here 2 braids worked over 9 stitches with vertically repeating of 8 rows.
Only RS rows are displayed in the chart. In WS rows work each stitch in the manner as it presents (i.e. knit knitted sts and purl purled sts)

     K1 = Knit 1 stitch  (videohelp), purl in WS
     P1 = Purl 1 stitch  (videohelp), knit in WS
    C1L (Make a left slanting cable 1k st over 1k st)
   Cross 6 sts to the left – 3k sts over 3k sts (Slip 3 stitches to the cable needle, let it in front of work, knit next 3 stitches and then knit the 3 stitches from cable needle).
    Cross 6 sts to the right – 3k sts over 3k sts (Slip 3 stitches to the cable needle, let it back of work, knit next 3 stitches and then knit the 3 stitches from cable needle).
